Job summary

Ecolibrium Farms is seeking a friendly and organized person to join our team as a CSA and Farm Store associate. You will help run weekly CSA pickups, answer questions, and create a welcoming member experience.

In the Farm Store, you’ll provide great customer service, operate the POS system, restock, and help with deliveries and seasonal tasks. Immediate start, part-time or full-time hours, with weekend shifts preferred.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Positive, friendly attitude with strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to lift up to 40–50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Weekend availability preferred.
  • Interest in local food, farming, or sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present weekly CSA shares and pickup displays.
  • Welcome CSA members and provide a warm, engaging pickup experience.
  • Answer questions about vegetables, storage, recipes, and farm offerings.
  • Coordinate member pickups and help resolve questions or issues.
  • Manage CSA add-ons and ensure pickups run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Support the U‑Pick experience and help members navigate the farm.
  • Serve as a key ambassador for the farm, creating an exceptional member experience.
  • Welcome customers and provide exceptional customer service at the Farm Store.
  • Operate the point‑of‑sale system and process transactions.
  • Restock produce and retail products throughout the day.
  • Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Help receive deliveries and stock shelves; occasional field work may occur.

Ecolibrium Farms is a multifaceted company centered around a certified organic, bio‑intensive market garden in the Sammamish Valley, just 10 miles from Seattle. Our farm grows exceptional vegetables while fostering a deeper connection between people, food, and the land.

Our operation includes:

  • Certified organic vegetable production
  • A vibrant on‑farm Farm Store featuring our own produce alongside products from outstanding Washington farmers and makers
  • Robust CSA program with U‑Pick component
  • Restaurant sales throughout the Seattle area
  • Seasonal events, workshops, volunteer days, and community gatherings

The Farm Store is an extension of our farm. We believe buying food should be an enjoyable, educational, and personal experience. We love introducing customers to incredible local products, sharing what’s in season, and helping people cook and eat more delicious food.

What You’ll Do
CSA Program
  • Prepare and present weekly CSA shares and pickup displays

  • Welcome customers and provide exceptional customer service

  • Monitor inventory and communicate restocking needsMaintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures
  • Help receive deliveries and stock shelves. Optional field work may include harvesting, washing produce, transplanting, weeding, or other seasonal farm tasks.
Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate loves making people feel welcome, is energized by conversations about food, enjoys creating beautiful displays, and takes pride in helping customers and CSA members feel connected to the farm. They are organized, dependable, and excited to represent Ecolibrium as one of the first people visitors meet when they arrive.

  • Weekend availability (preferred)
  • Retail, grocery, farmers market, hospitality, or food service experience is a plus, but not required.

Compensation & Perks
