Job summary

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking a Farm Assistant for a Nebraska producer. The role covers crop production, equipment operation and maintenance on late-model farm gear. Strong communicator who works well in a team is essential.

Experience in planting through harvest is preferred; driving a semi, knowledge of elevators/bins/dryers, and pivot irrigation are a big plus. This is a long-term opportunity with good community and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Experience is a big plus, but good attitude, hardworking and willingness to learn is more important
• Must be a team player, good listener, responsible, proactive and forward thinking
• Prefer experience driving semi tractor-trailer; welding, pivot irrigation knowledge is a plus
• Experience with elevators, bins and dryers is helpful

Responsibilities

• Handle crop production tasks and basic farm maintenance
• Operate late-model equipment and assist with equipment maintenance
