Job summary

Kindling Farm is seeking a Farm Manager to help us get our first season off to a good start, work with us to crop plan for future years and help us transform the farm into a thriving agroforestry project for the Northwest.

You will be involved in cultivation and production for field-scale veg, protective cropping with tunnels, establishing the first strawberry beds, and delivering Countryside Stewardship and Sustainable Farming Incentive agreements at a farm level.

Responsibilities

• cultivation and production for field-scale veg including squash, brassicas, celery, radish, beetroot & beans
• ~1,000m2 of protective cropping including tomatoes, spring onions, radish, leafy greens, with tunnel area increasing as finance allows
• establishing the first strawberry beds
• working with us to deliver our Countryside Stewardship and Sustainable Farming Incentive agreements at a farm level
