Job summary

Hord Personnel Services, Inc is seeking a mechanically inclined maintenance worker to join our sow farm team in Bucyrus, Ohio. This role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic fabrication to keep equipment running smoothly.

You will read diagrams, order parts, and assist with repairs while supporting a clean, safe work environment. Expect 45–50 hour weeks, on-call and weekend duties as needed, with opportunities to grow technical skills.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in maintenance.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must not currently own or have routine contact with swine.
• Willingness to work in a physically strenuous environment.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preventive maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Complete repair orders and procure parts/materials.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and fabricate repair parts as needed.
• Maintain exterior and interior components of farms to company standards.
• Work 45-50 hours per week with on-call and weekend duties as needed.
