Qualifications

• Be Mexican national and eligible to work in the US
• Hold a university degree and professional license in Industrial/ Maintenance Engineering or related field
• A TN visa for the United States is required
• Valid Mexican passport (12+ months) and Mexican driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm equipment (tractors, feed systems, ventilation, pumps, generators)
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Maintain climate control systems and biosecurity infrastructure
• Weld to repair or fabricate metal parts and equipment
• Keep detailed logs of maintenance tasks, parts, and repair dates
• Respond promptly to emergency repair needs to protect livestock health

Job Description

We are looking for professionals committed to their growth and interested in long -term work in the industry as Farm Maintenance Technicians in highly modernized facilities.

Note: This position is as an OPERATOR, not a supervisory role.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on farm equipment such as tractors, feed systems, ventilation systems, pumps, generators, water lines and pressure washers
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Maintain climate control systems such as fans, heaters, curtain motors, and thermostats
• Perform arc, MIG, or TIG welding to repair or fabricate metal parts, gates, fences, and equipment
• Assist in cleaning and disinfecting barns and farm equipment to meet animal health and biosecurity standard
• Support the maintenance of biosecurity infrastructure, such as showers, entry rooms, and barriers
• Maintain detailed logs of maintenance tasks, service intervals, parts used, and repair dates
• Respond to emergency repair needs promptly to reduce downtime and protect livestock health

Working Conditions:

Usual work hours: 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Average of 80 to 100 hours per biweekly pay period

One day off per week

Work locations: various farms in states such as North Carolina, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Nebraska, Kentucky, among others

Extreme weather conditions depending on the season (cold in winter and hot in summer)

Requirements

To be eligible for this position, a TN work visa for the United States is required. Therefore, it is essential to meet the following requirements:

• Be of Mexican nationality
• Hold a university degree and professional license in Industrial Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, or a related field
• Possess a Mexican passport valid for at least 1 year
• Have a valid Mexican driver’s license
