Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous livestock handling helpful.
• Ability to do hard physical labor.
• Willingness to shower daily in and out of facility.
• Ability to work an average 48-hour work week; weekends/evenings/holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Feeds, waters, vaccinates, and performs general animal husbandry tasks.
• Maintains flexibility and adapts to farm leadership direction.
• Assists in moving animals and maintaining efficient animal flows.
• Sanitizes and washes farm areas using high pressure equipment.
• Processes piglets (injections, castration, docking tails, ear notching).
• Maintains production records and animal health care as required.
• Follows SOPs, manuals, or training guides; assists with facility maintenance.
• Adheres to animal welfare policies and environmental/safety laws.
