Job summary

Grabow & Sons Inc. in South Dakota is seeking a farm worker to plant, cultivate and harvest crops and hay, and assist with cattle duties. You will operate tractors for spraying and support with silage cutter, and perform general maintenance on equipment.

This role requires lifting up to 100 lbs repeatedly. Employer provides housing, meals, and weekly transportation to town for groceries and services; visa processing and related fees are reimbursed as part of the H-2A program.

Qualifications

• Experience with farming activities preferred; 3 months minimum.
• Willing to perform physically demanding tasks and lift up to 100 lbs.
• Random drug testing may be conducted post hire.
• H-2A visa processing and related costs reimbursed.

Responsibilities

• Plant, cultivate and harvest crops/hay.
• Operate tractors to spray crops and run silage cutter.
• Assist with cattle duties: filling barns, feeding and vaccinating.
• General maintenance and sanitizing of plant and equipment.
• Duties: 40% crop/hay, 40% cattle, 20% maintenance.
