H2ajobs in Texas seeks a farm laborer to repair, build, and maintain fences, and to monitor cattle health. You will operate and repair farm equipment for land preparation and perform strenuous outdoor work.

The job requires 60 lb lifting, exposure to extreme temperatures, and willingness to work flexible hours with weather conditions. Random drug testing and background checks may be required; housing, meals, and transportation are provided by the employer.

Description du poste

Repair, build, maintain fences, monitor cattle for sickness, repair and operate farm equipment for land preparation. Exposure to extreme temp, repetitive movements, extensive pushing, pulling walking and frequent stooping Involves lifting and carrying of 60 lbs frequently May be required to take post hire random drug and/or alcohol tests, at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination. May be required to submit a post hire employer paid criminal background check. Failure to comply or felony convictions that the employer reasonably believes will impair safety of others on the worksite will result in immediate termination. The hours listed represent the normal work schedule. Due to the nature of the duties and weather it is the prevailing practice to work substantially more, less or different hours than those listed, sometimes for extended periods of time. When the number of hours for a week exceeds the number listed then, the worker may be offered, but not required, to work more hours. Employer may request, but not require, workers to work more than the stated daily hours and/or on the weekend, a worker’s Sabbath or federal holidays. Worker must report to work at designated time and place each day. Daily or weekly work schedule may vary due to weather, sunlight, temperature, crop conditions, and other factors. Employer will notify workers of any change to start time.

• Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)
• Meals: Employer will provide (at least once per week) transportation to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries and/or other incidentals. Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so workers may prepare their own meals.
• Transport: For non-commuting workers the employer pays/reimburses for reasonable costs incurred by the worker for transportation and daily subsistence from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer, whether in the U.S. or abroad, to the place of employment. This will include the most economical form of transportation which can include a van, bus or a plane ticket if driving is not possible.
