Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate modern farm equipment for planting, fertilizing, spraying, cultivating, and harvest operations.
• Perform routine maintenance, service work, and repairs on farm machinery and implements.
• Utilize GPS and precision technology systems for field operations and equipment setup.
• Assist with pivot irrigation maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose equipment performance issues during field operations.
• Maintain clean, organized equipment, shops, and farm facilities.
• Assist with general farm duties as needed throughout the year.

Job description

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a dependable and motivated Farm Equipment Operator for a progressive crop production operation located in Nebraska.

This is an excellent opportunity for a person who enjoys production agriculture, takes pride in equipment and maintenance, and wants to be part of a long-term farming operation with modern equipment and technology.

The employer is seeking a self-starter with a strong work ethic, good mechanical ability, and the willingness to assist wherever needed throughout the operation.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating large farm equipment, maintaining machinery, and working independently while also being a dependable member of the farm team.

You must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident to be considered for any U.S. positions.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Experience in crop production and farm equipment operation required
• Mechanical ability and equipment maintenance experience preferred
• Really prefer pivot irrigation experience
• Precision agriculture / GPS technology experience preferred
• Class A CDL preferred or willingness and ability to obtain one
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
• Strong work ethic, sound judgment, and ability to work independently
• Individual must take pride in their work and maintain a clean, organized work environment
