Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Farm Equipment Operator to join our team. This role involves operating and maintaining a variety of agricultural equipment to support planting, fertilizing, harvesting, and other field operations. The ideal candidate is experienced with modern machinery, safety-conscious, and capable of working long hours during peak seasons.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate tractors, sprayers, spreaders, planters, combines, and tender trucks to perform a wide range of field operations.

  • Assist with fertilizer and chemical application, grain hauling, and seasonal planting and harvest activities.

  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

  • Work closely with farm management, agronomists, and team members to meet fieldwork and logistics schedules.

  • Accurately follow directions, maps, and prescriptions for field applications and equipment settings.

  • Maintain detailed records of field activity, equipment use, and maintenance tasks.

  • Comply with all safety, environmental, and company policies at all times.

Qualifications:
  • Valid CDL (Class A or B) or ability to obtain (Tanker and Hazmat endorsements preferred).

  • Previous experience operating agricultural equipment such as tractors, sprayers, planters, and trucks.

  • Strong mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues in the field.

  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends during peak seasons (spring and fall).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of precision ag technology and GPS-guided equipment (preferred but not required).
