Job summary

National Experienced Workforce Solutions (NEW Solutions) seeks a Farm Bill Support specialist in Amherst, MA, to provide technical and program delivery conservation work under the ACES program in partnership with NRCS.

You will assist with contract related items, conservation planning, reporting, and field office support across Holden, Wareham and Amherst, with occasional travel, and you must be eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 year(s) of experience in agricultural operations and resources management.
• Not required but helpful experience with Farm Bill Programs and NRCS practice user guide.
• BA/BS Degree in Natural Resources, Business, Agronomy, or related.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical and program delivery conservation work in support of Farm Bill programs.
• Provides technical assistance, assists with conservation planning and contracts.
• Supports NRCS staff across Holden, Wareham, and Amherst locations.
