Job summary

FieldTRUE Organic is expanding its Farm Ambassador program in Tacoma, WA to connect communities with sustainable farms. You will engage locals, communicate clearly, source events, and sign up participants for our farm-to-table service.

We seek environmentally passionate individuals with basic Google Workspace skills and a willingness to learn. The role offers a positive work environment with benefits and growth opportunities.

Job description

We are seeing unprecedented demand for produce from our sustainable, organic, farm collective in our current climate. We need your help to meet the current need for our service. Now more than ever, communities, friends, and families require transparency and a direct connection with the people who are growing their food. The food system is changing as we speak. Right now, we are actively expanding our roster of Farm Ambassadors to keep up with the public desire to know how and from where their food is sourced. Essential Responsibilities:

• Community engagement

• Signing up new participants for our farm-to-table service

Requirements:

• Passion for the environment, sustainability, and the farm to fork movement
• Basic computer skills (Google Workspace, e.g., Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Maps)
• Intelligence, character, coachability/willingness to learn
