Job summary

Akkodis is recruiting for an Automation Robotics Engineer in Comstock Park, MI. This onsite role offers a salary between $125k and $150k annually and requires direct-hire placement with travel up to 50% in North America.

The candidate will develop robot applications with Fanuc TP/Karel, validate offline programs, and integrate Fanuc controllers with PLCs. Strong safety, networking, and mentoring skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Fanuc certifications are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and write robot application code from scratch using Fanuc TP and Karel.
• Build, test, and validate offline robotic programs and simulations with Roboguide.
• Configure User Frames, Tool Frames (TCP) and payload schedules.
• Implement safety zoning via Fanuc DCS/Position Speed Check configurations.
