Job summary

Valknut Inc. seeks an experienced FANUC Robot Programmer for a high-priority automotive integration project in Toledo, OH. Initial 1–2 weeks of training at Wixom, MI, before deployment to the plant floor in Toledo.

You will develop, modify, and debug robot programs; configure safety interlocks; and integrate vision systems to optimize line performance. Required hands-on FANUC programming on R-30iB/Plus controllers, GM GRS experience, and strong PLC/vision system troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on FANUC robot programming in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience implementing GM Global Robotics Standards (GRS).
• Ability to write and structure robot programs from scratch without templates.

Responsibilities

• Program robots from scratch using FANUC Teach Pendant and GM GRS standards.
• Configure and validate DCS, safety zones, cycle sequences, and PLC handshakes.
• Set up and troubleshoot FANUC iRVision routines (2D/3D).
• Support offline/online path teaching, tooling alignments, and line runoff.
