Job summary

HRU-Tech is seeking a Robot Programmer in Sterling Heights, MI to program, configure, debug, and support industrial robots during installation and production launch. You will work with PLC programmers, electricians, and customers to meet safety, quality, and cycle-time requirements.

Extensive FANUC CRX30iA programming and troubleshooting experience is required, along with the ability to collaborate across teams and travel locally and out-of-state as needed. The role is long-term and on-site.

Qualifications

• Technical degree preferred
• Extensive experience programming and troubleshooting FANUC CRX30iA robots is required
• Experience with industrial robot programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting

Responsibilities

• Robot Programming & Commissioning: Review drawings, power up and calibrate robots, download and verify offline programs, set up bindings and I/O, configure DeviceNet and communications, teach and modify robot paths for welding, material handling, maintenance, and other robotic applications
• Debug robot programs at slow speed and verify PLC signals; install and configure hardware stops and software limits; coordinate with PLC to debug cycles
• Debugging & Production Support: resolve issues with pipefitters/electricians, verify welds and cycle times, support customer acceptance and TR studies
