Job summary

King County Superior Court seeks a Family Treatment Specialist to join its Family Treatment Court team. The role focuses on recruiting participants, coordinating treatment services, and ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices for parents in care proceedings.

The position involves court collaboration, data tracking, and developing recovery maintenance plans, with strong emphasis on equity and client-centered services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or related field with 2 years of case management in SUD/mental health.
• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field with 4 years of case management in SUD/mental health.
• Two years of experience working with multicultural populations.
• Two years of experience in the child dependency field.
• Experience in courtroom or legal settings and SUDP certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify, recruit and orient participants to Family Treatment Court program.
• Provide program information to internal and external customers and maintain referrals.
• Establish referrals to treatment agencies, schedule intake, obtain records and reports.
• Coordinate treatment placement, access benefits, and liaison with treatment providers.
• Monitor progress, use motivational interviewing, and address social service needs.
• Prepare cases for court review and participate in treatment meetings and wraparound teams.
