Job summary

Freedom House in Greensboro, NC seeks a Program Driver to provide safe transportation for residents and their children to work, appointments, school, and activities within the residential recovery program. You will assist staff with errands and day-to-day needs while upholding confidentiality and boundaries.

The ideal candidate is dependable, flexible, patient, and capable of adapting to changing schedules, with a valid NC driver's license, clean driving record, and the ability to operate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid North Carolina driver’s license and a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents and their children to work, appointments, school, and activities.
• Coordinate daily transportation schedules with program staff.
• Assist with program errands (medications, supplies, groceries, donations).
• Maintain professional boundaries and protect confidentiality.
• Communicate transportation issues and schedule changes to staff.
• Follow all policies on safety, confidentiality, transportation, and medication handling.
• Maintain scheduling flexibility.
