Job summary

Mainstream Nonprofit Solutions in Wichita, KS seeks a Transport Support Worker to provide transportation and visitation support for children and families involved in the child welfare system. You will play a critical role in promoting well-being and coordinating with partner agencies.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least two years of experience in child and family services, with strong verbal and written communication and a compassionate, eager-to-learn

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and two years of experience in child and family services.
• Evening availability required for at least one day per week.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written), compassion and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation and visitation support for children and families in the child welfare system.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings; coordinate with other agencies providing Permanency Services.
• Build healthy relationships and connect families to resources to improve their lives.
