Job summary

Queen of Peace Center in St. Louis, MO, seeks a Family Therapist to provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy to individuals and families affected by substance use and behavioral health challenges.

You will deliver individual, family, group, and community-based services within a collaborative treatment team. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, conducting in-home and community visits as needed, maintaining documentation, and meeting productivity and billing standards while

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field, or AAMFT certification.
• Minimum one year of supervised family therapy experience.
• Knowledge of family systems theory and evidence-based modalities.
• Valid driver's license, MO residents require Class E, and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide family therapy using evidence-based family systems approaches.
• Assess family dynamics and develop strategies for healthy communication.
• Facilitate individual, family and group therapy per treatment plan.
• Develop and monitor family-focused treatment goals and interventions.
• Conduct in-home and community-based services as needed.
• Transport clients with a personal vehicle following policy and insurance rules.
• Document assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and support substance use counseling.
• Meet productivity, billing, and documentation standards.
• Participate in staff meetings, supervision, trainings, and required coursework.
• Maintain flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends.
