Job summary

Community Mental Health for Central Michigan seeks a licensed mental health professional to deliver family- and community-based services for children with emotional disturbances in Big Rapids. The role emphasizes evidence-based therapy, crisis intervention, and collaboration with families and multiple agencies.

The position requires a Master’s in Social Work or related field, Michigan licensure, and experience in case management and group/family therapy.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a mental health field and state licensure in Michigan.
• Experience with children and families in a community mental health setting.
• Ability to obtain MDHHS Waiver endorsements; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, diagnoses and a range of therapy services for families with children.
• Deliver crisis intervention, individual, family and group therapy as per plans.
• Coordinate with Family Court, DHS and other agencies for community treatment plans.
• Prepare reports, service plans and contribute to staff meetings and supervision.
