Job summary

CGS Administrators, LLC is seeking a Family Support Specialist for our Healthy Families program. You will provide prenatal and other health education and help strengthen parent-child relationships within the approved Parenting Curriculum. Travel is required for this full-time role.

The position emphasizes assisting families to improve home environments and build skills for better outcomes, aligning with our commitment to support children and families in New York.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a large caseload (20-26).
• Ability to establish trusting relationships with children, families and extended family.
• Knowledgeable in writing service plans and creating/executing goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide prenatal and other health education.
• Assist to strengthen parent-child relationships through an approved Parenting Curriculum.
• Help parents improve skills to optimize the home environment for the child.

• Pay or shift range: $38,000 USD to $40,000 USD
  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

General Responsibilities:

CGS is looking for an Creative and EmpatheticFamily Support Specialistfor our Healthy Families Program. As aFamily Support Specialistyou are responsible for providing prenatal and other health education. Assisting to strengthen parent-child relationships, through an approved Parenting Curriculum Assisting parents to improve their skills to optimize the home environment for the child's.

Required Skills:

• Experience Managing large case load (20-26)
• Ability to establish trusting relationships and work effectively with children, families and extended family.
• Knowledgeable in writing service plans and creating/executing goals

• Knowledge of community resources
• Experience working with, or assisting, at-risk children and families in a community setting.
