Eliot Community Human Services, Inc. is seeking a Family Support Specialist for the Healthy Families program in Holyoke, MA.

The role involves in-home guidance to new parents, focusing on pregnancy, baby care, nurturing and attachment, and healthy child development. Responsibilities include educating parents, promoting positive parenting, helping families set goals for education, work, and housing, and connecting them with community resources.

Qualifications

• Requires a High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children and families.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.

Responsabilités

• Educate parents on optimal health, growth, and development during infancy and early childhood.
• Encourage positive parenting skills, enhance parental health and wellness, and improve educational attainment.
• Assist parents with in setting and achieving goals related to education, work and housing.
• Connect families with essential community resources, including educational, employment, financial, housing, and medical services.
• Encourage co‑parent involvement in program groups and activities.
