Job summary

The Salvation Army Bainbridge Store seeks a Retail Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the Family Store and warehouse, ensuring policy compliance and secure cashier handling.

You will train staff, supervise cashiers, maintain attractive displays, price merchandise for turnover, assist customers, and support the Store Manager in achieving goals. High school diploma or GED required; retail experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• One year of retail experience, preferably in a Salvation Army store, with some supervisory experience
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day operations of the Family Store and warehouse; trains employees and ensures policy compliance.
• Supervises cashier activities; handles ringing, recording, receipts, deposits, and cash security.
• Assists customers and donors; explains store policy and services.
• Maintains store displays; restocks items to keep displays neat and attractive.
• Sets prices to promote turnover while ensuring fair pricing.
