Job summary

Jobtailor in Vermont seeks a qualified professional to answer the child protection hotline, gather information from callers about alleged abuse or neglect, and document reports in the state's system.

You will coordinate after-hours emergency responses, guide District Family Services Workers, inform law enforcement about laws and procedures, and coordinate foster care placements for children in DCF custody, providing information and referrals to foster parents and agencies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in social work or related field is required.
  • Associate's degree in human services or related field AND twelve (12)+ months of experience in human services including casework, crisis intervention, or call center information and referral.
  • Twelve (12)+ months working in the Family Services Division for the State of Vermont.

Requirements

  • OR Twelve (12) or more months working in the Family Services Division for the State of Vermont.
