Job summary

Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation in Minnesota seeks a licensed mental health professional to deliver Family Services program development and clinical coaching to participants and their family members. Hybrid role requiring monthly travel to other MN locations.

The role emphasizes adherence to standards of care, education for families, and collaboration with a Regional Supervisor. A Master’s degree and state licensure, plus experience in addiction treatment, are required; bilingual Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy, social work or related field.
  • Fully licensed in state as a licensed psychologist, licensed MFT, licensed counselor or licensed social worker.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience with children/family members.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in addiction treatment & recovery.
  • Proficiency with technology to document in EHR, attend virtual meetings, manage outlook.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and/or coaching services and education per standards of care.
  • Contribute to program development content, updates and delivery standards.
  • Represent Hazelden services to diverse audiences to ensure knowledge of services and processes.

Responsibilities

Hybrid opportunity! Must be open to go to other locations in MN once a month

Participate in ongoing Family Services program development and delivery. Provide clinical, coaching, and other services that maintain psycho-educational environment for participants. Provide training experiences and general education for family members of individuals impacted by mental health and substance use challenges. Facilitate and maintain responsibility for contacting family members and support person(s) when appropriate.

  • Delivery of Care: provide clinical and/or coaching services and education to Family Services program participants according to the HBFF’s standards of care, policies, and procedures.
  • Service Innovation: participate and contribute to program development content, updates, and delivery standards, as directed by Regional Supervisor.
  • Internal & External Engagement: at the direction of Regional Supervisor, represent Hazelden services to various audiences to ensure consistent knowledge regarding services, processes and participation.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work or related field.
  • Fully licensed in the state you are practicing as a Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Counselor, Licensed Social Worker, or similar.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience working with children and/or family members
  • Minimum of two years’ experience working in Addiction Treatment & Recovery field
  • Proficiency with technology and computer skills to document in an electronic health record system, attend virtual meetings, and manage outlook emails and calendars

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Individual NPI (National Provider Identification) number.
  • Willingness to be licensed in other states.
  • Spanish fluency.
