Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program seeks a Family Services Coordinator to work in the community as part of an integrated service team. You will coordinate in-home support, transportation, counseling, and parenting education while advocating for youth and families under supervision.

The role requires collaboration with foster families, schools, and community partners to promote safety, stability, and successful community living. Evening availability is required on a flexible basis.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
  • 2 years of direct service with youth and families strongly preferred.
  • Willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours with afternoon and evening availability.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and good driving record.
  • Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones, tablets, printers, and common software.

Responsibilities

  • Provides in home supportive services, transportation, parenting education, counseling, and advocacy to youth and families.
  • Coordinates and monitors services across mental health, medical, education, psychological, vocational, and social services.
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with foster parents and families of origin.
  • Assists in family reunification and stabilization efforts.
  • Provides safety assessment, crisis response, and behavioral stabilization as required to ensure youth safety.

Family Services CoordinatorCompensation: Salary $45,000-$48,000To learn more about the program, please visit Ohio Youth Mental Health Counseling Services | NYAPFamily Service Coordinators with National Youth Advocate Program work in the community as part of an integral service team.
