Job summary

Baltimore City Public Schools District Office in Baltimore is seeking a Family Service Coordinator for Early Learning programs. This grant-funded role supports Judy Center families birth through five by coordinating services, identifying needs, and promoting school readiness through community partnerships.

The FSC collaborates with families to set goals, works with community agencies, and maintains records to monitor progress.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least two years of relevant full-time professional experience.
• Ability to interact with diverse constituencies and convey information with tact and diplomacy.
• Proficient skill in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and develop strong working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Partner with community providers and collaborate with agencies serving young children and families.
• Manage cases and coordinate comprehensive services tailored to families.
• Communicate with families effectively, maintain a family-centered approach, and build trust.
• Maintain accurate data records for evaluation and track referrals for services.
• Assist in planning programs and co-facilitating sessions or services.
• Support parenting and home improvement to enhance home environments and child development.
• Promote empowerment and advocacy, helping families access resources and problem-solve.
