Job summary

The Ponca Tribe of Nebraska is seeking a Family Coordinator to implement and monitor the Strengthening Families program and other family-centered initiatives. You will coordinate activities, promote cultural heritage, and collaborate with multiple departments to fulfill grant objectives.

The role requires some evening/weekend hours, travel within the Ponca Service Delivery Area, and strong data management and reporting skills to ensure program success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field or education related field or equivalent.
• Two years of program development, implementation, training, and evaluation.
• Two years of experience in educational facilitation from curriculum design through session instruction.
• Two years of experience working with children and families within the child welfare system.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and be insurable.
• Successfully pass drug and alcohol testing, motor vehicle, education, character and criminal background checks.
• Able and willing to travel in and out of the Ponca Service Delivery Area.

Responsibilities

• Promote Tribal and cultural heritage while supporting the mission of the Human Services program.
• Leads and coordinates the grant related project goals and objectives within the allowable timeline.
• Compiles a record of activities and materials to support grant reporting.
• Identify and implement evidence-based family programming models to improve family health.
• Maintain project data current for proper reporting.
• Onboard assigned staff to ensure development and completion of skills.
