Rates: $170/hr

Coverage Dates: As soon as credentialed

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (preferred), or Monday-Thursday/Tuesday-Friday

Job Description: Facility in Barre, VT is seeking 1-2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and 1 MD with a background in Family Medicine or General Internal Medicine. While geriatric experience is preferred, it is not required. The position involves providing high-quality care to patients in a nursing home setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct admissions and discharges

• Perform acute evaluations and 30-day evaluations

• Manage a patient load of 8-12 patients per day

• Collaborate with other APPs and MDs in the facility

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm (preferred)

• Alternative schedules: Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Requirements:

• Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine, General Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are not required

• Will accept experience over fellowship in Geriatrics

Support and Collaboration:

• Work with other APPs and MDs

• Additional support staff available

• The locum provider will not be responsible for mid-levels, though APPs may need to consult with them

Facility Information:

• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) System: Point Click Care and EPIC

• No surgical staff or procedures required

On-Call Requirements:

• APPs: No on-call duties

• MD: On-call duties negotiable
