Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician

Located in Sacramento, California, Sierra Vista Hospital is a 171-bed full-service behavioral health facility and a center of support for patients and their families. Serving the needs of Northern and Central California, we offer clinical expertise to those suffering from emotional, behavioral and addiction problems.

The hospital is a well-run collegial practice setting for doctors and staff, offering opportunities for professional and personal growth. We are currently adding to our team, hiring an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician.

Position Details:

• 1099/Independent contractor arrangement for your convenience. Lucrative annual compensation.
• The patient population will include adults and adolescents with diverse psychiatric and substance-abuse issues.
• Admission physicals and daily consult care with follow-ups for patients in behavioral health inpatient treatment.
• Medical management of routine illnesses as well as some specialty issues is in the scope of patient care under the physician.
• There is a full team of diverse Psychiatrists on staff at the hospital for collaboration.

Education/Experience Requirements:

• MD/DO degree from an accredited program.
• Board Certification/Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Licensed to practice in California or eligibility to obtain a CA medical license.
• Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians.
