We are seeking a board-certified Family Practice Physician for a locum tenens position in Pennsylvania. This 120-day assignment at a Clinic requires full-time coverage (40 hours per week) with a schedule of either 4 10-hour days or 5 8-hour days, starting from 06/16/2025. The physician will be responsible for managing clinical staff, overseeing medical clinicals, and occasionally filling in gaps as needed. The role involves running a 340B program, seeing approximately 15 patients per day, and serving as a collaborative physician for NPs and PAs. The position is 65% clinical work and 35% administrative duties, with a preference for a 6-month to 1-year commitment.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Manage clinical staff and oversee medical clinicals
• Provide direct patient care, seeing approximately 15 patients per day
• Serve as collaborative physician for NPs and PAs
• Oversee and participate in the 340B program
• Perform administrative duties related to clinic operations
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the Athenahealth electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive patient care
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and treatments as needed
• Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with clinic policies
