Job description

Seeking a BE/BC family or internal medicine physician for an outpatient opportunity in northern Vermont. This position offers the ability to earn a competitive income and enjoy a great quality of life while living and working in a gorgeous community surrounded by freshwater lakes.

1. 20 provider multi-specialty practice in two locations with Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Geriatrics.
2. Staffed currently with 9 physicians (3 IM, 1 geriatrician, 6 FP) and 9 mid-levels (4 PAs, 5 FNPs).
3. One part-time Psychiatrist and one full-time Psychiatric NP support the practice.
4. This is an outpatient-focused role.
5. Clinic work involves 4 patient contact days and one administrative day per week.
6. Patient volume details to be provided.
7. Medicine call is phone-only, averaging 1/6.
8. Hospitalist shifts are available for additional reimbursement at a competitive rate.
9. Athena EMR is utilized.

Compensation & Benefits:

1. Potential annual compensation of $300,000.
2. 35 days of PTO.
3. 5 days of CME with a $3,500 stipend.
4. 32 hours of patient contact per week.
5. 100% outpatient Rural Health Clinic.
6. Onsite specialties include cardiology, pediatrics, general surgery, orthopedics, dialysis, OB/GYN, sleep medicine, neurology, ENT, radiology, urology, pain clinic, and visiting nephrology. Sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and loan forgiveness are available.
7. Health, dental, vision, disability insurance, license fees and dues, and tail coverage included.

Located in northern Vermont, serving a catchment area of 28,000 across three counties on the Canadian border. The hospital has over 20 active beds and is designated as a Critical Access Hospital.
