Primary Care Medical Director
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Compensation: $300,000 - $330,000 annually, with additional incentives up to $82,500, plus a signing bonus

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Medical Director to guide our primary care team in Brooklyn, NY. This leadership role is ideal for a board-certified physician with a proven background in healthcare management and a passion for driving excellence in patient care. The Medical Director will oversee clinical operations, enhance quality outcomes, and ensure regulatory compliance. Candidates must be eligible to serve Medicare participants and have a strong commitment to advancing data-driven healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage the clinical operations of primary care services, fostering a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
  • Supervise and mentor physicians, nurse practitioners, and medical staff, promoting collaboration and professional growth.
  • Leverage data analytics and evidence-based practices to improve clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
  • Design, implement, and optimize clinical protocols to align with industry standards and best practices.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and address any compliance issues proactively.
  • Support staff development through training, mentorship, and continuous professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with organizational leadership on strategic planning, budgeting, and operational initiatives to achieve growth objectives.
  • Champion innovation in healthcare delivery, with a focus on value-based care and chronic disease management.
  • Serve as a conduit between clinical teams and senior leadership, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
  • Oversee credentialing processes and ensure adherence to Medicare and other regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • Board Certification: Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Geriatrics required.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of clinical practice in primary care, with 2+ years in a leadership or medical director capacity preferred.
  • Licensure: Active New York State medical license and Medicare eligibility required.
  • Proficiency in data-driven healthcare management and quality improvement strategies.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and guide multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proven experience managing complex healthcare systems and fostering team collaboration.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $300,000 - $330,000 annually.
