We are currently seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our team.

Daily Responsibilities:

As a Physician, Primary Care, you will care for a diverse population of members of the World Trade Center (WTC) Health Program. This rewarding role involves conducting medical assessments, physical examinations, and providing WTC-related treatment at the William Street Clinic in New York City.

• Examine, diagnose, and treat patients for acute and chronic conditions
• Counsel and educate patients and families about health concerns
• Complete timely and thorough documentation using our EMR system
• Develop diagnostic and treatment plans
• Prescribe medications, therapies, and procedures
• Order lab and imaging tests to inform treatment and follow-up
• Coordinate care with specialists and ancillary services
• Ensure all documentation and paperwork are completed promptly
• Maintain clinical practice guidelines
• Gather clinical information and work within regulatory guidelines for coverage determinations
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Maintain effective working relationships with team members, internal and external stakeholders
• Assist Medical Director with clinical policy assessments and organizational operations
• Support the presentation of clinical programs and results
• Contribute to the development and review of clinical and operational documents
• Interpret contracts and apply provisions to clinical review processes
• Educate employers, providers, and staff on policies and regulations related to care provision
