VHS is looking for a qualified Physician - Administrative.

Description: Veterans Evaluation Services (VES), a Maximus company, is seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments nationwide. Current openings include:

• Provider's own office locations - Provider must have their own office
• Bemidji, MN - 1 day per week needed

Please read the attached practice description to fully understand the role.

VES is a government contractor supporting our nation's Veterans. The position is on a PRN basis with ongoing opportunities, including options to work days, 4-hour or full 8-hour shifts, primarily interview-based exams with some physical assessments. No prescribing or treatment involved. Credentialing and onboarding are quick. Acceptable specialties include family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or anyone with a background in general medicine or experience with compensation and pension.

Rate structure: Half-day rate: $800 (up to 4 hours), includes exam and report completion; Full-day rate: $1600 (5+ hours), includes exam and report; Bonus: $650 for completing training and first exams. Local candidates only; travel included. Follow-up administrative work such as addendums and diagnostics is required but not separately reimbursed. Certifications such as DMA are not reimbursed prior to start.
