Permanent Medical Director - Primary Care

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead a full-time outpatient position with a focus on leadership and Division Chair interests.
• Oversee and guide outpatient care and coordinate with medical directors of quality for primary care.
• Facilitate daily office flow and address clinical aspects, serving as a direct supervisor to outpatient medical practitioners.
• Dedicate 1/3 of your time (approximately 12 hours per week) to Medical Director responsibilities and 2/3 (approximately 28 hours per week) to primary care clinical duties.
• Manage a patient load of 20-24 patients per day.
• Engage in EMR optimization and implement best practice strategies while providing direct patient care.
• Participate in community call, which is TBD but likely 1:4.
• Collaborate with an RN Team leader and medical assistants, boasting a network of specialist services through a local hospital.
• Receive excellent IT and marketing support to help build patient volume.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine - REQUIRED
• New Hampshire license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
• BLS, ACLS (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
• 5+ years of recent outpatient primary care experience - REQUIRED
• Current or previous leadership employment experience - REQUIRED
• Clean malpractice/license - HIGHLY PREFERRED

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) - REQUIRED
• New Hampshire Medical License - REQUIRED
• BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED
