Job description

Our small business is looking for Emergency Room Physicians to help with coverage at Sage Memorial Hospital in Ganado, AZ. The Sage Memorial Hospital primarily serves the needs of the Navajo Tribe. Services include medical and dental, and in-house Pharmacy for patients. It also offers 24/7 Emergency Room and Inpatient Services.

Expected Schedule:

• 12 Hour shifts: 7A-7P; 7P-7A; 9AM-9PM and 2PM-2AM. Blocks of 5 shifts or more preferred.

EMR: Meditech Expanse.

Volume: 10,000 ER visits per year.

Support: Two APPs shifts: 9AM-9PM and 2PM-2AM.

Requirements:

• MD/DO diploma from an accredited medical school. IMGs are welcome to apply; ECFMG certification is mandatory.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine is preferred. Family Medicine and Internal Medicine physicians with recent ER experience (within the last year) are also encouraged to apply.
• Active, unrestricted Arizona medical license. Assistance with license application and fees is available. Applicants can start with any state license as long as an Arizona medical license application is submitted.
• Maintain updated continuing education certificates.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, DEA, ATLS certificates. Current immunizations including TB test.
• Willingness to pass background checks and random drug screens.
