Ephrata Family Medicine Physician

Practice Details

1. Provider team consists of two Physicians and three APPs when fully staffed.
2. Standard 4-day work week.
3. Clinic hours: 8A – 5P.
4. Full-time/permanent position.
5. Outpatient only with 1:5 nurse triaged, very light call.
6. Lab draw, X-ray, anticoagulation, dietary, behavioral health, and ortho on site.
7. Multi-specialty clinic with specialists readily available for support nearby.
8. See 20-25 patients per day.
9. EMR system is EPIC.
10. J-1 Candidates considered.

Community

Ephrata was named by a man who worked for the Great Northern Railway. The name derives from a biblical description of an orchard in the desert and is also the ancient name for Bethlehem.

The region was known for wild horses, with horse trading being significant to the local economy. The last Grand Horse Round-up was held in 1906. Ephrata developed as a trade and service center for local ranches until the Columbia Basin Reclamation Project.

Features include snow-capped mountains, lakes, and rivers of the high desert. The city is approximately 170 miles from Seattle and 120 miles from Spokane.
