An established industry player is seeking dedicated healthcare professionals for flexible exam opportunities. This role offers the chance to work on a PRN basis, conducting essential health assessments for veterans. Shift(s) Description: PRN - as needed basis. Shifts TBD. Half day is 4 hours or less. Full day is 4-8 hours. Weekends as needed.
Coverage Options: Travel and perform exams at VES leased facility OR schedule Veterans within your own practice.
Work Schedule: Option to work days (4 hours) and/or full days (8 hours).
Exam Types: One-Time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessments. Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessments such as range of motion testing and muscle strength testing.
Note: No prescribing or treatment involved.
Credentials: Quick credentialing & onboarding. DMA certification available (can earn CME credits). Certification must be obtained once privileged if not already certified. Client does not reimburse for DMA certifications or portal training before starting.
Requirements: Use of Goniometer required. Familiar with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio conditions. Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
Equipment: Own personal laptop (NO MACs).
Training & Reporting: Training provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs). Reporting/DBQs must be submitted within 48 hours upon exam completion; no narrative report. The end product is the completion of standardized form(s). Evaluations are to be completed in VES's provider portal. Record review is required in most cases. Follow-up administrative work (addendums, medical opinions, diagnostics reading) will be required regularly.
