Position Details:

• Location: Creighton, NE - Avera Health
• Facility: 25-bed critical access hospital
• Reason for opening: Retirement
• Current team: 2 MDs
• Support Staff: 3 APPs (one dedicated to ED)
• Work scope: Mixture of inpatient and outpatient care
• Responsibilities: ED duties included
• Work schedule: 4-4.5 day work week
• Call schedule: 1:7/1:8 weekends; weeknights first call by APPs, second call by MD/DO
• On-call calls: Phone calls only, very rarely received from APPs
• Patient volume: Approximately 15 patients per day

Financial Overview:

• Base salary: Approximately $262,500 with retention bonus, plus production incentives
• Moving expenses: $12,000
• Sign-on bonus: $150,000 / Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL)
• CME allowance: $5,000 (increases every 5 years up to $7,500)
• Retention bonus: 5% of base salary capped at $15,000, as a thank you for good standing
• Additional benefits: 6% match, CME, PTO, loan repayment through the state
