A leading healthcare provider in Colorado seeks a Family Practice Physician due to retirement of a senior physician. This salaried position offers a competitive salary of $200K, relocation assistance, and a comprehensive benefits package, including major medical insurance, retirement plans, and more. The role involves mostly outpatient work with pediatric and newborn care responsibilities within a supportive physician group.
Because of the upcoming retirement of a senior Family Practice (FP) physician in town, we are seeking a new Family Practice Physician. The outgoing FP has been with us for 30 years. There is a large volume of work available, with the outgoing FP seeing 25-30 patients daily and performing well financially.
This is a salaried, hospital-employed position with a salary of $200K, a full benefits package, relocation assistance ($10K), a signing bonus (negotiable), and other incentives. The group's building is conveniently located just one block from the hospital, featuring 12 exam rooms and being well-equipped. The group currently includes 3 physicians and 1 PA, supported by a practice management service organization (MSO).
The candidate will mainly do outpatient work, with exceptions for pediatric and newborn rotations. Pediatric and newborn care, along with office call, is scheduled at 1 in 3. The on-call schedule involves being available 1 in 3 days during weekdays and every third weekend (Friday to Sunday). The volume during on-call days is generally light, with most days without calls. When calls are necessary, the candidate should be within 20 minutes of the hospital.
Office hours are standard Monday through Friday, with one administrative day per week. No obstetrics (OB) or scope procedures are required, although the FP can perform scope procedures if desired.
