Job Description

A client with locations in Middleton and Newburgh is seeking an experienced Primary Care Physician to provide excellent care to patients of all ages. An ideal candidate is a versatile and collaborative Physician who values providing equitable care to all populations, including the underserved and underinsured. The role involves the full scope of family practice to meet the diverse health and social needs of patients.

Required Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited medical school with an MD or DO degree
• Current NY state medical license
• Completed an accredited residency in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
• Current DEA certificate
• Board certified or eligible in primary care
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including preventive care, primary diagnosis and treatment, and inpatient medical care if appropriate.
• Secure and evaluate a patient's health history and record findings systematically, accurately, and succinctly.
• Perform physical assessments and discriminate between normal and abnormal findings.
• Provide routine physical examinations, diagnostic services, and treatment of illnesses and emergencies.
• Adhere to the highest standards of medical ethics.
• Ensure quality of care for all patients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
