Job summary

SageWest Health Care in Wyoming seeks a full-time Family Medicine Physician to join an established group with flexible scheduling and strong office support. Lander and Riverton sites provide comprehensive services to a 40,000+ population with access to OB, general surgery, imaging, and hospitalist care.

Position offers a 40-hour work week (Mon-Fri 8–5, flexible), no current call, and about 20+ patients per day. Competitive compensation with relocation, sign-on, and benefits included.

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is required.
• Surgical OB fellowship or equivalent for C-sections is required.
• Must obtain WY medical license and DEA with prescriptive authority.
• Minimum of one year in practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: 40 hours/week, typically Mon-Fri 8–5 (flexible).
• Call: no call currently; Medicare guidelines followed.
• Average patients per day: 20+ when fully ramped up.
• Support staff: 1 CMA/LPN/RN per provider.
• Access to multi-specialty colleagues for referrals.

Education

BE/BC in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

Surgical OB fellowship or equivalent experience

WY license and DEA with full prescriptive authority

About The Position

• Schedule: 40 hours/week (typically M-F, 8 5, this can be flexible)
• Call: no call currently (Medicare guidelines followed)
• Average patients per day: 20+_ when fully ramped up
• Typical procedures: Per provider s comfort level
• Support staff: 1 CMA/LPN/RN per provider
• Practitioners: access to 3 PCPs, 1 GS, 1 OB, 1 PT ENT, 1 PT IM, 1 PT GS

Qualifications

• BE/BC in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Surgical OB fellowship or equivalent experience required for C-sections, etc.
• Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WY and DEA with full prescriptive authority
• Minimum of one year in practice preferred
