Position: Full-time Site Medical Director

Location: Georgia Diagnostic and Classification State Prison, Jackson, Georgia

The Medical Director provides clinical leadership to meet service delivery requirements, oversee clinical services for patients, and supervise medical staff at the assigned site under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director. The role involves collaborating with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure the delivery of efficient and clinically appropriate medical services. The Medical Director also participates in various committees, including Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics, as requested.
