Facility in Chino Valley, AZ seeking Family Medicine locums coverage

Rates: $150/hr

Assignment Duration: Ongoing

Position Overview:

Facility is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Practice Physician to join their outpatient clinic. This position primarily serves a high geriatric population with occasional minor procedures such as toenail removals, lesion removals, Pap smears, and joint injections.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM. Full-time coverage, 20 days per month.

Daily Duties:

• Provide comprehensive family practice care with a focus on the geriatric population.
• Perform minor procedures such as toenail removals, lesion removals, Pap smears, and joint injections (negotiable).
• Work collaboratively with a support team including a Medical Assistant, Triage RN, Front Office Staff, and Clinic Manager.

Patient Population:

• 100% adult and geriatric patients.
• No pediatric patients.

Qualifications:

• Certification:
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine - Required.
• BLS, DEA - Required.

• Licensing:
• Active Arizona State License - Required.

• Experience:
• Fellowship - Required.

• Other Requirements:
• Clean malpractice history preferred.
• Must demonstrate a history of positive collegial relations with colleagues, support staff, hospital-based providers, administrators, and patients.
