Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced
Physician to join our clinical team in Humboldt or Del Norte County. In this role, you will assess and evaluate patient healthcare needs, perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, manage care plans, and contribute to the continuous improvement of medical services.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and obtain patient histories.
- Assess clinical status and order appropriate diagnostic tests.
- Develop clinical assessments and care plans based on findings.
- Prescribe and/or administer treatments or medications following standard care guidelines.
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and available community resources.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical meetings, and peer reviews.
- Supervise and review work by Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) as needed.
- Mentor peers, students, and residents when required.
- Contribute to protocol development and updates.
- Assist with after-hours call coverage and resolve patient or co-worker concerns.
- Support team-based care and participate in internal committees when requested.

Education & Experience:- Completion of Medical School and Residency Training.
Licensure & Certifications:- Current California Medical License.
- Board Certification.
- Active DEA License.
- Current CPR Certification.
Supervisory Duties:- Oversight of APCs when requested.
Physical Requirements:- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Adequate vision, hearing, and manual dexterity.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
