UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC seeks a board-certified Family Medicine Sports Medicine physician to serve as Core Faculty for our 8-8-8 Family Medicine Residency Program and to advise and direct the addition of a Sports Medicine Fellowship.

Job Summary

The physician will dedicate most of their effort to teaching, administration, scholarly activity, and patient care within the program.

• Serve as a family medicine resident advisor
• Assist with scholarly activities
• Participate in recruiting, evaluating, and selecting medical student applicants when practice schedule allows
• Attend and participate as a voting member of the Graduate Medical Education Committee
• Participate in special committees as needed
• Represent the program at local, state, and national specialty conferences
• Attend leadership and professional development meetings
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director or administrative staff
