Job summary

ARC Health in Northern California is seeking a compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a tribal health clinic delivering comprehensive outpatient primary care.

The role features a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch, no on-call or after-hours responsibilities, and a collaborative, mission-driven team dedicated to serving rural and underserved communities.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Active California license is required.
• Active California DEA registration is required.
• Experience with tribal or Indian Health Service preferred.
• Ability to care for patients of all ages; strong communication and teamwork.
• Preference for rural and underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care across the lifespan.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
• Perform preventive care and wellness visits.
• Manage chronic disease.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff.
• Maintain timely electronic documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
