Overview

Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner — Seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Oncology Team.

• Experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) with 1 year or greater of NP Oncology experience preferred or strong oncology background as a RN (minimum of 3 years' experience in oncology and is a certified oncology nurse).
• Join our team of 4 Physicians, 2 Nurse Practitioners and experienced clinical/non-clinical staff.
• Both Iowa and Illinois licenses needed.
• Hospitalist team providing inpatient support.

Responsibilities

• Collaborative team environment focusing on patient care, patient/family support and patient/family education.
• Provide medical care in non-clinical settings while serving patients across levels of care as needed.
• Offer collaborative services for patients including radiation oncology, infusion resources, genetic testing, surgical intervention (including robotics), clinical trials, tumor boards, dieticians, and cancer navigators.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in Iowa and Illinois (or eligible for licensure in both states).
• Experience in oncology is highly preferred (NP or RN with oncology background).
• Commitment to professional autonomy and patient-centered care as part of a physician-led medical group.
