Job summary

TEEMA Group is seeking a full-time Family Practice Physician (MD) in Elko, Nevada to provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan, from newborns to seniors.

The physician will focus on preventive care, routine physicals, chronic disease management, and coordination with specialists, while maintaining accurate EHR documentation. Nevada-licensed physicians with CDS/DEA and BLS are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• MD with Family Practice/Primary Care experience.
• Active and unrestricted Nevada medical license required.
• Current Nevada CDS registration and DEA registration required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Must be comfortable treating patients of all ages, from 1 day old.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, including newborns, children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.
• Conduct routine physical examinations, preventive health screenings, and wellness visits.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment and care plans.
• Prescribe medications and manage ongoing medication therapies as clinically appropriate.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies.
• Provide patient and family education regarding preventive care, treatment plans, medications, and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation within the electronic health record.

Overview

We are seeking a full-time Family Practice Physician (MD) to provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan. This position is ideal for a physician who is comfortable treating patients of all ages, from newborns through older adults, and who is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Rotating schedule: Monday through Thursday, or Tuesday through Friday

What you will be doing

What you must have

• Current Nevada Controlled Substance (CDS) registration and DEA registration required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Must be comfortable and qualified to provide primary care to patients of all ages, beginning at 1 day old.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively and independently in a busy primary care environment.
